Senior | Alec R

Oh how they grow up fast. It seem that I took this picture only a few days ago.  My two sons with their 3rd cousin – Alec.  Alec is a senior this year at Southwest High in Lincoln.  We just went on vacation to Cozumel with Alec and his parents.  One of the best vacations we have been on – a good start to Alec’s senior year.

Alec’s mom took this picture when Alec came to visit and get his senior pictures taken.  The boys have grown up!

Alec has a cool car!

Alec has a mean glare -
and a nice gentle side!
I think this is the picture the girls will like.

Have a great year Alec!!  Thanks for letting me take your senior pictures.

Engagement | Ian & Suzie

It has been a joy to watch Suzie grow up.  I first remember her when she was in seventh grade – I remember thinking to myself how amazing she was- she had such natural beauty and was caring and kind also.  She was the same age as my daughter is today.  I get a little teary just thinking about it.  It seems like yesterday that we were all at the Calamus lake hanging out together- and little Suzie was running around wanting her Dad to give her a ride on the jet ski.  OK – where are the tissues!!!

And look at her today.  All grown up –  she has a wonderful career as a dental hygienist, and the most amazing future husband.  Ian is as good as they get – sweet, honest, funny, hard working- I could go on and on.  I hope someday my little girl finds a man like Ian.

Wedding | Steve and Stacey

From the first day I met Stacey I adored her. She is as beautiful as kind. It was an honor to be the photographer of her and Steve’s wedding held in Broken Bow.  The weather was perfect. I even had the perfect assistant photographer that day- my daughter Cora.  She was the one that came up with the idea of hanging Stacey’s dress from the balcony of the church.

undefinedundefinedundefinedI really love Stacey’s ring – shown here tucked into her flowers.
undefinedThis picture was taken right before the ceremony.  Stacey was so calm.
undefinedundefinedundefinedGreat detail on her dress.
undefinedSteve had a hard time not laughing when I took this picture.
undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedAll the beautiful jewelry was handmade by one of her bridesmaids.
undefinedSteve working it for the camera.
undefinedundefinedundefinedCora and I enjoyed the decorations!  Yummy!
undefinedI have to find out who made this cake!  It was the best tasting cake I have had (yes- I always eat a piece of wedding cake).  Cora said it tasted like ice cream.
undefinedundefinedHaving a great time with their first dance.
undefinedFather and daughter dance.
undefinedundefinedThis was a great dollar dance!

Enjoy your honeymoon!!!

Jmarie - What did you use for the light behind the bride during the dance photos and were they posed, or actually moving?
J

Angie - Hello – I use my Sony wireless flash system to make the back light. I have an extra flash on a stand right behind them. The flash from my camera syncs with it and make the back light. Gotta love SONY!!
