Basketball season-

My family is very busy during basketball season-

Boy # is playing Jr. Varsity in High School.

Boy #2 is playing on two different teams (a 6th grade team and a catholic school team) plus he is the student manager of the varsity high school wrestling team (also going on right now)

Girl #1 is also playing on two teams (the local 5th grade girls team and the catholic school team).

Don’t take me wrong- I love basketball and enjoy watching my kids play. But this weekend will be a challenge for me. Boy #1 is playing in Albion, Boy #2 should be playing in Broken Bow, but decided to go with the varsity wrestling team to their districts.  And Girl #1 is playing in our home town. It would not be much of a issue if my husband was around- but this weekend he scored tickets to watch Creighton play college basketball in Omaha.

Here are a few pictures from the season.  I really like to look at the size difference in kids during these ages.  Notice my daughter and how small she is compared to a few girls (but she still manages to get aggressive – even pushing a little). 🙂  (my daughter is #14 in red, oldest son is #10 in white and middle son is #30 in white/blue).

A nice basketball quote to end this post with

Basketball is like photography, if you don’t focus, all you have is the negative.
